Rustam Mulla joins Veritas Legal as Senior Partner, to bolster real estate and disputes practice

Mumbai-based law firm Desai Desai Carrimjee & Mulla (DDCM) managing partner, Rustam Mulla, joins law firm Veritas Legal as senior partner.

An alumnus of the Government Law College (GLC) Mumbai, Mulla is a fourth-generation lawyer and a three-decade veteran in the profession. Mulla was one of the co-founders, along with Falguni J Desai, Kedar J Desai and Naheed T Carrimjee at DDCM in 2007.

“We have known Rustam for some time and have enjoyed working with him. He will be a great addition to the firm and will augment our real estate, dispute resolution and general corporate practice,” said Abhijit Joshi, Founding and Managing Partner of Veritas Legal.


Recently, Vaibhav Singh, former dispute resolution practice partner from the Mumbai office of Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (SAM & Co), also joined Veritas Legal along with his team.

Mulla is also on the board of listed kitchen solutions, including stainless steel sinks, faucets and built-in appliances maker Carysil Ltd, real estate transaction advisory Nagarwalla Estate Pvt Ltd and Katie And Navel Foundation, among others.

Dispute resolution practice, particularly in Mumbai, has witnessed several movements. Recently, Raghini Singh has joined boutique firm ThinkLaw Advocates as a partner in dispute resolution practice along with her team. Singh was the founder of Raghini Singh & Associates.
