Manhattan Associates to expand footprint in India

BANGALORE: US-based global supply chain optimisation provider Manhattan Associates is looking towards increasing its footprint in India shortly.

A worldwide market leader in Supply Chain Management(SCM), the company plans to expand its client base in India, specifically targeting the organised retail sector, besides planning a increase in headcount, it said in a statement.

The company's CEO, Peter F Sinisgalli said, "Manhattan Associates with its offering on Supply Chain Optimisation from planning through execution is all geared up to capture this market."

He said the company aims to have 30-40 clients, covering a market share of $40 million in the next three to five years, besides increasing its headcount in the R and D centre here to 1000 from the present 850 "with most of its product offerings being conceptualised, designed and developed from this centre".
