Mahendra Jain has quit audit and consultancy EY member firm as its partner in Bengaluru after 27 years of association, of which he was a partner for 20 years. He currently heads the firm’s Assurance Practice in Bengaluru.

The 48-year old chartered and cost accountant said he was quitting his job to pursue his passion in wildlife photography. He was also CEO of EY’s global delivery services in India for four years. His work on wildlife photography has been featured in national and international magazines and websites.

Jain began his career in Bengaluru, and played national roles as chief operating officer for assurance in India. He was the youngest partner at the multinational firm when he was promoted in 2001.
