CHENNAI: Staffing services provider Ma Foi Management Consultants Ltd on Wednesday announced the launch of "Job Centre," its retail initiative in providing job opportunities, here.
K Pandia Rajan, Managing Director, Ma Foi, told reporters on Wednesday that the company plans to open 25 job centres in the country by the year-end.
These retail outlets will make job opportunities accessible to candidates at convenient locations and provide opportunities available in their immediate locality, he said.
The company has already launched seven job centres in Mumbai.
"The company provides job placements to 3,000 people per month currently. This will be increased to 6,000 per month by next year and will overtake the national employment exchange (with regard to job placements) by 2008," he said.
"Candidates with experience and background in FOS (feet on Street), call centre, financial services, retail, FMCG and BPO segments will find it comfortable to register at these job centres," he said.
He said the firm has provided job placements to 93,000 people and is likely to hit the one lakh mark before August this year, the 14th year of the company's operations.
