Luthra & Luthra litigation partner Ashish Prasad joins ELP

Ashish Prasad is joining Delhi office of Mumbai-headquartered law firm Economic Law Practice (ELP) in its litigation and arbitration practice.

MUMBAI: Law firm Luthra & Luthra Law Office’s former litigation partner Ashish Prasad is joining Delhi office of Mumbai-headquartered law firm Economic Law Practice (ELP) in its litigation and arbitration practice.

“Ashish brings with him exceptional skills as the ability to work through extremely complex issues,” says Rohan Shah, managing partner of ELP. “His experience and expertise will be a valuable asset to the firm and the clients we serve.”

An alumnus of Delhi University from 2003 batch, Ashish has also completed courses in Intellectual Property laws from WIPO, Geneva. Ashish began his career with Lall & Sethi and joined Luthra & Lutra before joining ELP.

According to release issued by the law firm, Ashish has had exposure across sectors including food business/FMCG, telecom, infrastructure, pharmaceutical, information technology, media, television & broadcast, foreign investments and defence.

Mumbai-based ELP was ranked eight in latest ranking of RSG Consulting, a London based research firm. The firm has total 120 lawyers including 27 partners.

The research firm estimate that the combined revenues of Indian law firms doing corporate and commercial work in India will be just over US $1 billion for the 2014-2015 financial year.
