Deloitte picks Nishesh Dalal to lead India private equity advisory

Deloitte has picked KPMG senior executive Nishesh Dalal to lead its private equity advisory services in India.

Dalal was previously co-head of KPMG’s transaction services division.

A Deloitte spokesperson confirmed the development when contacted by ET.


Dalal has over two decades of industry experience advising corporations and financial sponsors, industry sources said.

His linkedin profile states that he is a chartered accountant by qualification.

Deloitte will also be announcing a new head of financial advisory in May with KPMG’s national head of deal advisory Rohit Berry expected to join the firm in that role.

Deloitte's current chief executive officer in India, Romal Shetty, was also formerly with KPMG.
