Cholamandalam MS Risk inks pact with ARCADIS

CHENNAI: Cholamandalam MS Risk Services, risk engineering consultancy firm, has inked a deal with global natural and built asset design and consultancy company ARCADIS to expand the network of specialist safety and risk management experts.

Cholamandalam MS Risk Services Ltd is a 50:50 joint venture between diversified business conglomerate Murugappa Group and Japan-based Mitui Sumitomo Insurance Group.

The Strategic Alliance between the companies would expand network of specialist safety and risk management (SRM) experts, and provide clients with a deeper pool of talent to help them minimise their exposure to operational risk, a company statement said.

"Through the Strategic Alliance, ARCADIS and Chola MS will collaborate on SRM and environmental projects primarily in oil and gas and transportation industries across India and South East Asia," it said.

"This aliance with Chola MS gives us access to specialist skills that will enable us to better serve our clients with these needs, particularly in Asia. I look forward to collaborating with them and introducing them to our clients over the coming months," ARCADIS Global Director for Environmental Solutions, Mark Fenner said.
