Amsterdam's Transfer Pricing Associates forges alliance with Indian CA firm Ashok Maheshwary & Associates

KOLKATA: Amsterdam-based Transfer Pricing Associates, a global transfer pricing and valuation services provider, has tied up with Indian chartered accountant firm Ashok Maheshwary & Associates to cater to its Indian clients. The alliance will in turn help the local firm offer integrated solutions to its global customers.

TPA said the fast-evolving Indian transfer pricing regime requires a global outlook and strategic thinking. The alliance will help to meet the growing demand of multinationals for comprehensive tax and transfer pricing services.

"The recent changes introduced in the Union Budget 2012 especially relating to intangibles, advance pricing agreements and coverage of domestic transactions have further expanded the scope of transfer pricing practice in India," said Amit Maheshwari, partner at the local CA firm.

"Our alliance with TPA will help us access the best minds in the realm of transfer pricing and adopt the global best practices in the field of international taxation," he was quoted saing in a press statement. The local firm has offices in Gurgaon, New Delhi and Mumbai.
