Sonal Dabral joins Bates David Enterprise

NEW DELHI: India's most famous prodigal son, Sonal Dabral will return to the country to take over the joint roles of chairman, Bates David Enterprise and regional executive creative director, Asia Pacific, Bates Asia. Dabral's assignment with Bates begins in October.

He leaves O&M Singapore where he's had a stellar run. The agency was the second runner-up for Agency of the Year at Cannes Lions 2007, the advertising industry's premier award show.

Dabral shot to fame at O&M's Mumbai office in the mid to late 90s and was involved with many of its best remembered campaigns including the 'egg' commercial for Fevicol. He will replace Mohammed Khan as chairman of Bates David Enterprise.
