Pragyan Ojha advertises for PETA as caged tiger

The advertisement goes on to proclaim, "Save animals by protecting their natural habitats, not by imprisoning them in zoos".

GUWAHATI: Cricketer Pragyan Ojha has figured as a caged tiger in the latest advertisement of People for Ethical Treatment of Animals ( PETA).

Ojha, a left-arm spinner, playing for Mumbai Indian in the Indian Premier League ( IPL) took time out of his busy schedule to speak up for animals who suffer every day of their lives locked up in zoos, a press release issued by PETA said.

Ojha is locked in a glass zoo enclosure with parts of his face and arms painted with tiger stripes in the ad and the caption reads, "Save the Tiger: Say No to Zoos".

The advertisement goes on to proclaim, "Save animals by protecting their natural habitats, not by imprisoning them in zoos".

The advertisement was shot by ace photographer Y S N Murthy, Ojha's hair and make-up was done by Mask Raju and bodypaint by Sravankumar, the release added.
