O&M opens Meridian branch in Delhi

Media communications major Ogilvy & Mather today announced the start of Delhi operations of its full service advertising agency Meridian Communications.

NEW DELHI: Media communications major Ogilvy & Mather today announced the start of Delhi operations of its full service advertising agency Meridian Communications.

This is the first time Meridian has ventured outside Mumbai and Bangalore and the opening of the Delhi operations is a part of 360 degree brand stewardship focussing on outreach, digital advertising and public relations, besides traditional advertising, the company said in a statement.

Ogilvy Vice-President Sunil Verma will be leading the operations in Delhi and the company has already added DLF Pramerica and Unitech as clients in its portfolio.

"Delhi is a critical and strategic market and Meridian will now be looking to go beyond traditional advertising and create thought leadership campaigns." Meridian Delhi President Sanjay Thapar said.

Among the company's existing clients in Mumbai and Bangalore include Axis Bank, Dockers, ITC Personal Care and INX Group's 9X television.
