Ogilvy to manage ArcelorMittal's PR in India

NEW DELHI: Global marketing communications firm Ogilvy PR has bagged the public relations account of the world's largest steel maker ArcelorMittal in India.
Ogilvy PR will provide a range of services, including public affairs, corporate PR and special event management and the account will be led by its Delhi office with support from the agency's national and international offices.
"India is a critical and strategic market for ArcelorMittal. And for several years, Ogilvy PR has established credentials, familiar with the complexity of a metals industry. We will now be looking to go beyond traditional PR," Ogilvy PR India President Meenakshi Bhalla said in a statement.
Commenting on the development, ArcelorMittal General Manager Communications (India) said, "Ogilvy PR's mandate is to strengthen the communication on our presence in India."
