Ogilvy & Mather has announced that it has agreed to acquire a majority stake in PennyWise Solutions a leading digital solutions company.
Ogilvy & Mather has announced that it has agreed to acquire a majority stake in PennyWise Solutions a leading digital solutions and services provider company. The Hyderabad based company founded in 2003 is led by the chief executive Anand Morzaria. Its service offerings include digital advertising, mobile applications, social listening and engagement and data services. It has a global customer base with client from Europe and North America along with India. Its client portfolio includes Vodafone India, Johnson & Johnson and WPP Agencies including Ogilvy & Mather, Soho Square amongst others.
Piyush Pandey, Executive Chairman & Creative Director, Ogilvy South Asia termed this acquisition as a strategic investment that would combine the digital skills and services of both companies to deliver solutions for their clients across India and APAC. The eventual plan is for the acquired agency to become the digital technology and production centre of excellence for Ogilvy & Mather in India, and also power best practice digital delivery for the agency’s India network as well as the O&M APAC network.
