MUMBAI: The Mudra Group has chosen to look beyond advertising while getting one of its latest recruits in. Ajit Menon who joins Mudra Group as executive vice president and head — leadership, learning and change, moves from BPO outfit Nirvana Business Solutions where he was vice president, HR and global operations.
Leadership Learning and Change is part of Mudra's HR efforts, focusing on identifying, nurturing and growing talent and began operations four years ago.
Commenting on Menon's entry into Mudra Group, Madhukar Kamath, managing director and CEO, says, "Ajit is a critical addition to our senior management team. He will lead a large LLC team and help us unleash the potential of our talent. Ajit comes to us with proven expertise in 'people management and team-building', innovation, system orientation and hands on learning in recruitment, administration, training and development. I believe that his exposure to and experience in the hospitality and BPO industry; a combination of managing a large operation from the business perspective and HR skill sets, will be very useful to us in our growth agenda."
Menon's previous experience includes stints in the hospitality industry at the Leela and the Oberoi where he began his career. He's also worked overseas with the Hilton and the Intercontinental in the Middle East.
