The survey, conducted across 25,420 respondents in 50 countries, revealed that 81% Indians said advertising stimulates competition leading to lower prices, compared to only 68% consumers globally. Likewise, as much as eight out of every 10 Indians felt advertising provides useful information on issues like safety and health. The findings are based on an online global survey commissioned by the World Federation of Advertisers.
