Bengaluru-based Happy Creative Services wins mandate for Maiyas Foods & Amante Lingerie

Happy Creative Services, the Bengaluru-based creative agency started by Kartik Iyer and Praveen Das, has won 2 accounts recently - Maiyas Foods & Amante lingerie. Both businesses were won without a formal pitch process, informs Kartik Iyer, CEO, Happy. The agency plans to roll-out the campaign for both the brands in a couple of months. Informs Iyer, “While the Maiya campaign would be predominantly TV-led, for the lingerie brand there would be an entire 360-degree campaign with focus on the digital medium.”

Maiya’s is a processed foods initiative owned by Dr. Sadananda Maiya who has been behind the MTR Foods enterprise. Informs Sadanand Maiya, “The Maiya’s brand plans to launch ready to eat and ready to cook packaged foods spanning a variety of a 100 snacks and dishes in the country.” We chose Happy because we wanted a young agency would could understand and communicate the brand’s needs, he added in a press release.

Interestingly, this is the first food category account at the indy-agency that has been making waves with some of its clutter-breaking creative work, most noticeable being the work on flipkart.

In another development, the agency has also been chosen as the creative partner for the lingerie brand Amante owned by the MAS holdings group based in Sri Lanka. The brand has been in India for the last 4 years and has big growth plans in the subcontinent, according to John Chiramel, CEO Amanté.

As per sources, the marketing spends for both the accounts combined are pegged to be in the range of Rs 8-10 crores.
