Bates Enterprise is planning new initiatives in the planning and training space. The agency has introduced a process called Change Point Planning in view of changing customer patterns, usage of products, and the need for brands to evolve quickly.


MUMBAI: Bates Enterprise is planning new initiatives in the planning and training space. The agency has introduced a process called Change Point Planning in view of changing customer patterns, usage of products, and the need for brands to evolve quickly.

"Most agencies focus on trend spotting but we want to uncover the changing point which will go much deeper spotting trends," said Subhash Kamath, CEO.

Also, in keeping with the natural churn that accompanies a growing economy, the agency plans to hire HR people, even from non-advertising backgrounds. "The agenda is to create new ways of looking at things," said Kamath.

Bates Enterprise plans to open a new centre in Bangalore for 141, its brand in the marketing services space, and has hired a national creative director for it. 141 already have centers in Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai.
