Anil Kapoor elected ABC chairman
FCB Ulka Advertising Pvt Ltd managing director Anil Kapoor has been elected as the new chairman of Audit Bureau of Circulation (ABC) for 2007-08.

MUMBAI: FCB Ulka Advertising Pvt Ltd managing director Anil Kapoor was elected as the new chairman of Audit Bureau of Circulation (ABC) for 2007-08.
Kapoor has been a member of the ABC council of management since 1995 and was deputy chairman for 2006-07. He is also the past president of Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) Mumbai, a release issued on Thursday said.
Other members on ABC's council of management for 2007-08 include adverstising agencies representatives -- Prem Mehta, Lintas India Pvt Ltd hon secretary; Sam Balsara, Madison Communications Pvt Ltd hon treasurer; and Shashidhar Sinha of Universal McCann Erickson (India) Pvt Ltd.
Subroto Chattopadhyay, RPG Enterprises; Romit Chaterji, Tata Services Ltd; and Paulomi Dhawan of Raymond Ltd are advertising representatives.
The publishers' representatives include C H Kiron, Ushodaya Enterprises Ltd deputy chairman; Vijay Darda, Lokmat Newspapers Pvt Ltd; Ravi Dhariwal, Bennet Coleman & Co Ltd; T Venattram Reddy, Deccan Chronicles Holdings Ltd; Shailesh Gupta, Jagran Prakashan Ltd; Amitabha Datta, ABP Pvt Ltd; Manoj Kumar Sonthalia, Express Publications (Madurai) Ltd; and M Venkatesh of HT Media Ltd.
