Waaree Solar Americas gets 236 MW solar module supply order in US

Waaree Energies on Tuesday announced that its American unit has secured a 236 MW module supply for a major solar project in the United States.

The modules will be manufactured and supplied from Waaree Solar Americas' facility in Brookshire, Texas, it said in a regulatory filing.

Waaree Solar Americas has secured a 236.22 MW utility-scale solar module supply contract for a major solar project in Flemingsburg, Kentucky. , the company said.


"The United States remains a key strategic market for Waaree, and this contract further strengthens our order book while reinforcing our long-term commitment to supporting America's clean energy transition through world-class domestic manufacturing," Sunil Rathi, Executive Director, Waaree Group, said.

However, the company did not disclose the order value.
