Vegh Automobiles launches S60 electric scooter for Rs 1.25 lakh

Vegh Automobiles has announced the launch of its high-speed electric scooter, the S60, at the EV India Expo 2023. The company also announced that it will bring an upgraded variant of the S60 in the coming months.

The Vegh S60 has a price tag of Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes in four colour options - Matt Black, Light Grey, White and Light Green.

It has a 3 kWh battery which can be fully charged in 4-5 Hours and offers 120 kms range. As per the makers, the electric scooter offers 2.5 KW peak motor power and 75 kmph top speed.


In terms of features, it gets a digital display, a combined braking system and three ride modes. The Vegh S60 electric scooter offers three ride modes for adaptable battery performance, ensuring efficiency in both city and town driving. The electric scooter gets wider seats and a hydraulic suspension as well.

Besides, it offers 90-100/10 Tubeless tyres at the front and rear.

Vegh also offers two more scooters under its Sim range - Vegh S25 and Vegh L25. These are however slower scooters with maximum speed of 30 km/hour.

At Rs 1.25 lakh, Vegh S60 has many tough opponents like Ather 450S, Ola S1 Air etc.
