Ultraviolette Automotive, manufacturer of premium electric scooters and motorcycles, plans to establish retail presence in European countries, a company official said on Tuesday. The firm also set foot in Kolkata with two products in the electric motorcycle and electric scooter segment, he said.

CEO and co-founder of Ultraviolette, Narayan Subramaniam, said, "The company plans to go global between May and June with establishing its retail presence in the European markets of UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal and France."

With its plant located near Bengaluru in Karnataka, he said the company, backed by a spectrum of global investors, also aims to reach to 50 cities across the country by the fiscal 2025-26.


Subramaniam also said Ultraviolette Automotive has tied up with an oil marketing PSU for setting up charging stations across highways in India.
