TVS launches new iQube S electric scooter with extended range: Check price, features, and other details

TVS Motor Company has announced the launch of a new version of its iQube electic scooter. The new version is called as the TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh. The latest variant gets a bigger battery pack and replaces the earlier 3.5 kWh model. It has been priced at Rs 1,37,142 (ex-showroom). Here’s a closer look at what the new electric scooter offers.

TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh: Key highlights
The biggest change comes in the form of a new 4.7 kWh battery pack. The setup produces 5.9 hp of peak power and 33 Nm of torque. TVS claims the battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in around four hours using a portable charger.

The new iQube said to have improved performance as well. The scooter delivers an IDC-certified range of 175 km on a single charge, while the top speed stands at 82 kmph. It can sprint from 0 to 40 kmph in 4.3 seconds.


The connected tech package remains similar to the higher variants in the iQube range. Features include a TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, navigation support, ride analytics, and notifications. The scooter also offers reverse mode, crash alert, fall alert, and anti-theft alert.

On the hardware front, the iQube S 4.7 kWh weighs 128.8 kg and rides on 12-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 90/90-12 tubeless tyres at both ends. Braking duties are handled by a 220 mm front disc brake and a 130 mm rear drum brake.

Alongside the battery upgrade, TVS has introduced fresh colour schemes for the scooter. Customers can choose from Magnificence Purple Beige, Harlequin Blue Beige, and Titanium Grey Matte.
