New Delhi: SunBridge BioEnergy Ltd has started commercial production at its grain-based fuel-grade ethanol plant in Seoni, Madhya Pradesh, following an investment of Rs 350 crore.

The facility has a production capacity of 300 kilolitres per day and can store up to 11,000 kilolitres of ethanol, the company said.

SunBridge BioEnergy is expanding its ethanol manufacturing footprint, with its total production capacity expected to reach 700 kilolitres per day. The company is also developing a 400-kilolitre-per-day facility in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.


The company uses damaged food grains, including maize and broken rice, as raw materials to manufacture fuel-grade ethanol.
