Sri Lanka grants approvals to Adani Green Energy for wind projects

The provisional approvals are for two wind projects in the town of Mannar and Pooneryn, a village in the Northern province of Sri Lanka, he said.

Sri Lanka has granted provisional approval to Adani Green Energy for an investment of over $500 million in two wind projects in the country, Sri Lanka's power and energy minister Kanchana Wijesekera announced on Tuesday.

The provisional approvals are for two wind projects in the Mannar and Pooneryn, a village in the Northern province of Sri Lanka, he tweeted.
