Sokudo launches two electric scooters, prices start from Rs 59,889

New Delhi: Sokudo Electric India, a manufacturer of electric two-wheelers, has introduced two new electric scooters that comply with the FAME-II regulations. The Select 2.2 is priced at INR 85,889, while the Rapid 2.2 is priced at INR 79,889. Additionally, they have launched a non-RTO model called the Plus (powered by lithium) at INR 59,889. The company aims to capture 15-20% of the market with these electric scooters.

Both the Select 2.2 and Rapid 2.2 have a range of up to 100 km, while the Plus model offers a range of up to 105 km. These scooters are equipped with a 15-amp converter for efficient charging, reducing range anxiety. They are powered by smart fireproof lithium ferro phosphate (LFP) batteries, eliminating the safety risks associated with NMC batteries.

The durable scooters feature ABS plastic bodies ranging from 3.5mm to 5.25mm in thickness. They also come with CANBUS connectors for real-time monitoring, making maintenance easier. Additionally, the company offers a three-year warranty on the battery and a five-year warranty on the vehicle.


Prashant Vashishtha, the Founder and CMD of Sokudo Electric India, emphasized the advantages of their new models. He stated, "We aim to provide Indian riders with safer, more efficient, and reliable options with long warranties and better ranges at a much more affordable price. Our Made in India Sokudo electric scooters offer unique and comprehensive features, making us a better and more reliable mobility solution provider than most international brands."
