Sales of Ferrari's first EV to start in October next year, CEO says

The world premier of the new EV model will take place in the spring of next year, while its sales will start in October 2026, CEO Benedetto Vigna said.

Luxury sportscar maker Ferrari will launch its first fully-electric vehicle through a three-step process starting from October, its Chief Executive said on Tuesday, presenting the company's first quarter results.

CEO Benedetto Vigna told analysts that Ferrari would show "the technological heart" of the new model at the company's capital markets day on Oct. 9.

The world premier of the new EV model will take place in the spring of next year, while its sales will start in October 2026, Vigna said.
