Nuvoco, Clean Max tie up for clean energy project

Mumbai: Cement-maker Nuvoco Vistas Corp has partnered with Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions for a renewable energy project in Rajasthan, and will buy a 26% stake in a special purpose vehicle Clean Max Ilgohp Pvt Ltd for 46.4 MW of wind-solar hybrid energy. The project, comprising of 20 MW of wind capacity, and 26.4 MWdc of solar capacity including a 2-MWh Battery Energy Storage System, is aimed at increasing the share of renewable energy in Nuvoco's power consumption, effectively lowering fossil-fuel consumption and associated emissions.
