New Delhi: State-owned NTPC Ltd on Tuesday said it has commissioned solar projects totalling 359.58 MW in Gujarat and Rajasthan, taking the group's total installed and commercial capacity to over 85.5 GW.

The projects include 243.66 MW of the 1,255-MW Khavda-I solar project in Gujarat, being developed by step-down subsidiary NTPC Renewable Energy. In Rajasthan, the company commissioned 78 MW of the 245-MW Nokh Sokar solar project.


It has also brought on stream 37.93 MW of a 300-MW project at Khavda under the 450-MW Hybrid Tranche-V scheme in Gujarat.

NTPC has set a target of achieving 60 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2032.
