Now you can pre-book Ola electric scooter at just Rs 499. Here is how to do it

Ola Electric today announced the start of booking for its much-awaited electric scooter by paying just Rs 499. "It’s day 1 of the revolution, the day we’ve all been eagerly waiting for! The Ola Electric Scooter can now be reserved at just Rs. 499," Ola announced on Twitter.

Earlier this month, Ola Group CEO Bhavish Aggarwal had announced that the production of electric scooters will start soon at its world's-largest scooter manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu.



While the company is yet to disclose the pricing and specifications of its e-scooter, according to social media buzz, the much-awaited scooter is likely to be in the range of Rs 1 lakh.

Here is the step-by-step process to book the scooter at Rs 499:
1. To book Ola electric scooter, you need to visit Ola website https://www.olaelectric.com/

2. On the left corner of the site, you will find "Reserve for Rs 499."

3. After clicking the icon, you will have to enter your mobile number on the next page.

4. After entering your mobile number, you will receive an OTP on your mobile.

5. After entering your OTP and you will be directed to submit your other details.

6. After submitting the details you will be again directed to the payment page.

7. When you complete the payment, the final screen will confirm your booking saying: " Congrats, you are now part of revolution"
