Kinetic E-Luna features revealed: Check its price and specifications

On Wednesday, electric two-wheeler manufacturer Kinetic Green announced the upcoming launch of the electric version of the iconic Luna. The company revealed that it will initiate bookings for the E-Luna starting from Republic Day, though specifications were not disclosed.

While investigating, we stumbled upon a listing for the Kinetic E-Luna on the e-commerce website Flipkart. However, we cannot confirm if this is indeed the official E-Luna model entering the market.

The E-Luna is listed on Flipkart in two colors - Ocean Blue and Mulberry Red. According to the listing, it has an ex-showroom price of Rs 74,990, but Flipkart is offering it at Rs 71,990 after discounts.

Similar to the iconic Luna, the E-Luna promises good mileage - a range of 110 km, powered by a 2 kWh battery. The speed, as expected, is not high, reaching just 50 kmph with its 2W motor.

Additionally, it features a portable charger, a Brushless DC Hub Motor providing 22 Nm of torque. The console includes Speed, Odometer, Trip, Battery SOC, DTE, Direction Indicator, High Beam Indicator, and Ready Symbol, as claimed by the listing.

According to the Flipkart listing, the Kinetic E-Luna comes with Telescopic Fork front suspensions and dual shock rear suspension.

The E-Luna has a weight of 96 kg, a seat height of 760 mm, and a ground clearance of 170 mm.

On Wednesday, Sulajja Firodia Motwani, the Founder and CEO of the company, stated that the e-Luna will cater to the needs of passengers and last-mile delivery segments, potentially serving as a multi-utility vehicle. The company anticipates a demand for 50,000-70,000 e-Luna units for the passenger B2C network and an additional 20,000-30,000 units for the last-mile delivery segment.
