Juniper Green Energy adds 71 MWp capacity to fully commission 217-MWp Maha solar project

Juniper Green Energy on Friday announced that it has fully commissioned the 217-MWp solar project in Chapalgaon, Maharashtra with the addition of 71 MWp capacity at the plant.

This execution brings the entire project online nearly 18 months ahead of its schedule, a company statement said.

Juniper Green Energy supplies power to Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited through its subsidiary Juniper Green Ray Two Private Limited.


The commissioning of 71 MWp capacity marks the completion of the entire 217 MWp solar PV project, it stated.

Juniper Green Energy said it has commissioned the project in two phases - 145.99 MWp on 22 May 2025, followed by 71 MWp on 23 June 2025 - achieving full capacity within just four months of signing the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).

It has been headquartered in Delhi-NCR since October 2018, and the company has grown its operational capacity to approximately 1.45 GWp. KKS HVA
