iVOOMi S1 Lite electric scooter launched, priced Rs 54,999 onwards

Electric vehicle startup iVOOMi has launched the S1 Lite, an affordable electric scooter available with two battery options, Graphene and Li-ion. The Graphene unit offers a range of up to 75 km and takes 7-8 hours to charge fully, while the Li-ion pack provides a range of up to 85 km and can be charged in under 4 hours. Both variants feature a 1.2 kW motor with 1.8 kW peak power and 10.1 Nm of torque.

The S1 Lite scooters are equipped with telescopic forks in front and rear adjustable spring-loaded units for improved handling. The braking system includes a front disc and rear drum brake setup. The Graphene battery variant weighs 101 kg, whereas the Li-ion variant is lighter, tipping the scales at 82 kg.

Additional features include an 18-litre underseat storage, a USB port for mobile charging, and an LED instrument cluster. Customers can choose from six colour options: pearl white, moon grey, scarlet red, midnight blue, true red, and peacock blue. The scooter will be available across dealerships in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Rajasthan.


The Graphene ion battery option is priced at Rs 54,999, and the higher-spec lithium-ion variant costs Rs 64,999. EMI options are available starting from Rs 1,499.

Furthermore, the company offers a warranty of up to 18 months on the Graphene unit and a 3-year warranty on the Li-ion variant.
