While the scheme applies to companies that have bid for the government's incentives for the production of green hydrogen and its derivatives, it leaves out the exporters who have not availed them. The 'materiality threshold' for an emission source will be 1% of the total emission threshold as the green hydrogen standards state.
Renewable energy supply for green hydrogen production may be sourced from a renewable energy project and transmitted either through a dedicated or common transmission line.
