Hyundai Motor India has partnered with Reliance Industries-backed Jio-bp to integrate their electric vehicle charging networks, expanding the charging points available to EV users through the myHyundai app to more than 37,000 across India.

The tie-up brings more than 7,000 Jio-bp pulse charging points across 300-plus cities onto Hyundai’s charging platform. The partnership also gives Jio-bp users access to Hyundai Motor India’s charging network, which currently has 183 operational DC fast-charging stations.

The move comes as automakers and energy companies look to expand India’s EV charging infrastructure and address a key barrier to electric vehicle adoption in India.

Under the partnership, users can discover and access Jio-bp charging stations through the myHyundai app. The platform is open to EV users across vehicle brands, allowing them to locate and use public charging points through a single interface.

“At HMIL, our vision is to provide customers with a holistic and worry-free electric mobility experience. As we continue to expand our EV product line-up in India, we are witnessing a shift in customer concerns from range anxiety to charging anxiety, underscoring the growing importance of accessible, reliable, and convenient charging infrastructure,” said Hyun Sup Lee, executive director and function head, corporate planning, Hyundai Motor India.

“This partnership with Jio-bp pulse marks another significant step towards strengthening the EV ecosystem in India by enhancing charging accessibility and convenience for our customers,” he said.
