A consortium of Hitachi Energy India and BHEL has won an order from Power Grid Corporation for 800 kV HVDC link from Khavda in Gujarat to industrial centre of Nagpur in Maharashtra. The project crosses 1,200 km and feeds into 500 GW renewable evacuation and interstate transmission system.
