CESC arm Purvah Green Power signs agreement with Prism Johnson Ltd to develop 49.5 MW wind project

New Delhi: CESC arm Purvah Green Power has signed a power supply agreement, with Prism Johnson Ltd, to develop a 49.5 MW wind project in Madhya Pradesh under the group captive model.

The wind power project of 49.5 MW will be established by KUS Renewable Pvt Ltd (KRPL) a wholly owned subsidiary of Purvah Green Power Pvt Ltd (PGPPL), CESC said in a statement.

The date of commercial operation is January 25, 2028.

The project will supply renewable power to Prism Johnson's manufacturing operations in the state for 25 years.

"Purvah Green Power which is the renewable energy platform of CESC Ltd within the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group (RPSG), has signed its first commercial and industrial power supply agreement, with Prism Johnson," the statement said.
