While the fifth-generation member of the Bajaj family has been seen at company events in the past, this was his first interaction with the media, signalling a quiet transition underway at the world's most-valuable two-wheeler company.
"But it's very tight at the top. Hopefully, launches and products such as these help us go beyond that," he said, pointing to the intense rivalry at the top end of the electric two-wheeler market.

Powered by a 2.5 kWh battery and delivering a range of up to 113 km, the C25 is priced at ₹91,399 (ex-showroom Delhi). The model is aimed at younger and more value-conscious urban consumers, with emphasis on ease of use and everyday commuting rather than outright performance, the company said.
"We want to become more affordable, but we also want to become more reliable," Rishab Bajaj said. "Every day is a new day. ICE (internal combustion engine) has been around for decades, even hundreds of years. EVs still have a long way to go, but this industry is shaping up nicely."
