Another Tata Nexon EV charger damaged by cow!

Last December, a Tata Nexon EV owner claimed that the charger of his car was damaged by a cow. A similar incident has now been reported by another Nexon EV owner.

In the latest incident, a person called Inderjeet Bang claimed that the charger of his Nexon EV got damaged by a cow. He said that a cow pulled the charger, destroying it completely, while one part of it got stuck in the charging port itself.

"Tata nexon ev charger damaged by cow … cow pulled the wire of the charger & the charger has been totally destroyed & one part of charger is stuck in the car charging port," he tweeted tagging Tata Motors.



"@TatanexonEV @TataMotors @Tataev can you please help me with this issue . Replacement or repair?" he asked.

Inderjeet has also shared a video of the damaged charging cables on his Nexon EV.

Last year, another Nexon EV owner, who goes by his Twitter handle @SumitKK3, also alleged that his car's charger got damaged by a cow.



Meanwhile, Tata Motors is all set to introduce its highly anticipated 2023 Nexon EV, scheduled for launch later today. This latest addition to Tata's electric vehicle lineup promises an array of exciting features and improvements.

One of the standout upgrades in the 2023 Nexon EV is its all-new Gen-2 Motor, which boasts an impressive torque rating of 215N. This translates into a swift acceleration, with the car capable of going from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.9 seconds. Furthermore, the vehicle offers three distinct driving modes: Eco, City, and Sport, allowing drivers to tailor their driving experience to their preferences.

The 2023 Nexon EV will be available in two versions: Long Range and Mid Range. The Long Range model boasts an exceptional 465 km range on a single charge, making it an attractive choice for those seeking extended journeys. Meanwhile, the Mid Range variant offers a respectable 325 km of range.

Tata Motors has emphasized that the Nexon 2023 EV features a long-lasting battery, specially designed to withstand the unique demands of Indian driving conditions. Additionally, the vehicle introduces a vehicle-to-vehicle charging feature, enhancing its convenience and versatility.

But the enhancements don't stop there. The 2023 Tata Nexon EV is equipped with numerous features to elevate the driving experience. These include a USB Type C port for charging personal devices, a cooled glove box, extra cushioned seats, rear AC vents, 60:40 split rear seats, a center armrest, an electric sunroof, front parking sensors, all-disc brakes, auto hold, hill descent control, hill ascent control, and a comprehensive safety package featuring six airbags and ESP with iVBAC. It also offers a blind spot view monitor, a 360-degree surround-view camera system, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, an auto-dimming IRVM, an electronic parking brake, and an air purifier.

The 2023 Nexon EV will feature a 31.24-cm touchscreen infotainment system equipped with a JBL sound system and nine speakers, including an external subwoofer, promising an immersive audio experience. In terms of aesthetics and design, the vehicle showcases a 2-spoke backlit steering wheel, R16 alloy wheels, a digital dashboard, hidden rear wipers, and smart digital DRLs.
