Adani Green Energy board appoints Romesh Sobti as an additional director

Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) on Monday said its board has appointed Romesh Sobti as an additional director. "Board of directors of company has, on recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, appointed Romesh Sobti as an additional director (Non-Executive, Independent) of company to hold office up to date of ensuing annual general meeting", the company stated in a BSE filing.

Sobti is the former Managing Director & CEO of IndusInd Bank (tenure from 1 February 2008 till 23 March 2020). He is a career banker with 46 years of experience in all 3 sectors of banking - public, foreign and private.
