Adani Green Energy has taken another step towards expanding its clean energy portfolio. On Friday, the company announced the creation of two new step-down subsidiaries aimed at strengthening its renewable power operations in Gujarat.

According to the company, its wholly owned arm, Adani Saur Urja (KA) Ltd (ASUKAL), has incorporated two new entities, Adani Hydro Energy Thirteen (AHE13L) and Adani Hydro Energy Sixteen (AHE16L).

Both subsidiaries have been set up with a clear objective: to generate and distribute renewable power.


This includes developing, transforming, transmitting, and supplying electricity produced through solar, wind, or any other clean energy sources.
