Trek Bicycle forays into India

NEW DELHI: US-based Trek Bicycle Thursday announced its foray in the Indian market.

The company, which has tied up with 13 retail partners across 11 cities, will have on offer 34 products priced between Rs 25600 and Rs 1.65 lakh.

Navneet Banka, country manager, Trek Bicycle India, said, “The premium and super premium bicycle market in India is valued at $ 25 million. It is growing at CAGR of 20%. With the rise in number of health enthusiasts and recreation cyclists, here is a lot of potential to grow sales here.
