Comic Con India signs licensing deal with Archie comics

Comic Con India, a comic-based convention held across several countries, on Thursday announced a licensing deal with Archie Publications which will involve commissioning editions of Archie titles with India only covers.

Jon Goldwater, publisher and chief executive of Archie Comics, said in a statement: “We hope to continue this relationship with Comic Con India for years to come.”

Comic Con, an annual event which works with Indian and international publishers, associates with comics, gaming, movies, television and merchandise, the statement issued by the company said.
