NEW DELHI: 'Love Story 2050', the much hyped science fiction film, may face a tough challenge at the box office from the latest superhero flick 'Hancock' starring Hollywood star Will Smith, which is releasing simultaneously on July 4.
The two movies will be competing in aspects of action sequences and special effects as both are packed with lots of special effects, stunts, gizmos and robots.
Film maker Harry Baweja is launching his son Harman Baweja with the mega science fiction film 'Love Story 2050' which also stars actress Priyanka Chopra.
Baweja's film is a love story which travels to the future while 'Hancock' depicts an Edgy, conflicted, sarcastic and misunderstood superhero, who fails to win over the heart of the people.
Will Smith is already very popular in India with his films 'Men in Black', 'I am Legend', 'Independence Day', 'Hitch' and 'Pursuit of Happiness'.
Distributed by Sony Pictures Entertainment in India the film stars Oscar winning Hollywood actress Charlize Theron and Will Smith in the lead roles.
Theron is sharing the screen with Will for the second time. She had earlier worked with him in 'The Legend of Bagger Vance'. The actress is excited with the uniqueness of the story and the chemistry between the lead characters which made her take up the project.
