NEW DELHI: With the rollout of five more new FM channels, the number of FM radio stations has gone upto 120.
The five new radio channels commissioned during September are: My FM (Synergy Media) for Ajmer, Radio Dhamal (BAG Infotainment) for Muzaffarpur and Dhule, Big FM (Adlabs Films) for Ajmer and Radio Mirchi (ENIL) for Kolhapur.
The government also received a sum of Rs 167.82 lakh as licence fee from private FM radio broadcasters during the same month, a statement here said.
