Three 'Big Bang Theory' actors ink deals, set for pay raise
Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki & Kaley Cuoco are set for a huge payday after inking a new 3-yr deal with Warner Bros TV, ending the delay in production of hit comedy show.
The other two stars --Kunal Nayyar and Simon Helberg--are still in the process of working out a new agreement to return to the CBS show. They are expected to reach an agreement by this week, said the Hollywood Reporter.
The prolonged negotiations for the salary increase of the stars resulted in a brief production delay of the show, which was renewed for three additional seasons during its 10th season.
The show is likely to resume shooting from Wednesday after a one-week delay that occurred when the five stars refused to return to work without new deals as their contracts expired in May at the end of season seven.
The trio, who currently earn $325,000 per episode, has apparently secured about USD 1 million per half-hour and an increased cut of the show's backend.
