Sportz Interactive appoints Blair Richardson to lead European and UK growth

Richardson has more than two decades of experience in sports, entertainment and digital media. He started his career in business development and sponsorship before joining Reuters, where he worked for six years as Commercial Director – Sport & Entertainment, managing its sports content division and expanding operations in North America and Asia. His role included partnerships with brands and rights holders such as FIFA, Sky Sports, Barclays Premier League, Nike and Adidas.
He has also worked in senior roles at ScribbleLive, Monterosa, Hex Digital and Rehab Agency, with a focus on content acquisition, fan engagement tools and AI-driven solutions. In 2016, he co-founded Chatsuite, an AI chatbot platform that developed engagement products for organisations including FC Barcelona, BBC and Eurosport.
On his new role, Richardson said he looked forward to applying his experience in sports content and digital innovation to SI’s activities in Europe and the UK.
Raghav Mehta, SVP – International Leagues & Federations at SI, said Richardson’s background in sports and entertainment would support the company’s plans in the region.
SI currently works with organisations including the International Olympic Committee, NBA, UEFA, Disney and Formula One.
