SonyLIV partners Mukta Arts to offer short films on its platform

SonyLIV will offer content, including over 100 short films, produced by Mukta Arts’ digital venture Connect.1 and Whistling Woods International.

MUMBAI: SonyLIV, Sony Pictures Networks India’s ( SPN) digital video entertainment platform, has entered in to a strategic partnership with filmmaker Subhash Ghai’s Mukta Arts. As part of the association, SonyLIV will offer content, including over 100 short films, produced by Mukta Arts’ digital venture Connect.1 and Whistling Woods International.

Uday Sodhi, Head – Digital Business at SonyLIV, said, “Short form content is the way forward. Consumers on the digital platforms are looking for stories told in short format for essentially consumption on mobile, which can be shared with friends and on social networks. We are excited to add the entire repository of content from Mukta Arts and Whistling Woods.”
