Shooting in trains to cost Rs 1 lakh a day
The Indian Railways now wants to piggy-ride on Bollywood to make some quick bucks.
���For nearly three decades, the Railways did not hike the charge for Bollywood shooting in trains and railway platforms. Actually, this avenue of revenue generation completely missed our attention for long. Now, we have learnt that it���s an option to explore and earn a substantive moolah,��� a Rail Bhawan official said. The Railway officials are of the view that the move would not hit movie producers��� pockets, but it would surely swell railway coffers significantly. The revenue thus generated would be spent on improving infrastructure on the stations.
