Reliance Media acquires 1.6 lakh shares of Cinemax

MUMBAI: Reliance Media & Entertainment Fund today acquired 1.6 lakh shares in multiplex chain operator, Cinemax India Ltd, for more than Rs 1 crore.

According to bulk data available with the NSE, Reliance Media & Entertainment Fund bought 1,58,097 shares of Cinemax India.

The shares were purchased on an average price of Rs 77.8 aggregating the deal size to Rs 1.22 crore, the data showed.

However, the seller of the shares could not be ascertained.

Shares of Cinemax India surged by five per cent to touch their highest permissible daily limit at Rs 77.80 on the NSE.
