The screenings will be held across more than 20 cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad and Guwahati, among others, catering to the growing demand from the BTS ARMY in India.
The ‘Arirang’ screenings follow a string of successful K-pop concert films hosted by PVR INOX, including ‘Yet to Come in Cinemas’ and ‘Burn the Stage’, which saw strong audience turnout and sold-out shows nationwide.
Aamer Bijli, Lead Specialist – Innovation, Film Marketing, and Digital Programming at PVR INOX, said the initiative reflects a broader shift towards “experiential cinema,” with audiences increasingly seeking immersive, shared viewing experiences beyond traditional films.
The company has observed rising interest in concert screenings, particularly among Gen Z and urban audiences, with higher group bookings and fandom-driven participation driving demand.
